About Geneva International Airport
Geneva Cointrin International Airport is the city’s only airport, located under 3 miles from the city centre. Situated on the French-Swiss border, Geneva airport enables passengers to access a wide range of ski destinations in both countries. The airport includes two main terminals, with one terminal dedicated to the winter season.
The airport itself offers good shopping and a wide selection of restaurants covering a range of local cuisine. Getting to the city centre from the airport is also relatively simple. It takes approximately 5 minutes by train to reach the main centre and regular bus services shuttle passengers to the city of Geneva.
For the third year in succession, Genève Aéroport has been named as the most efficient of the European airports hosting less than 15 million passengers a year.
For more information check out the official Geneva Airport information website available in English, French and German.
